The World of Beatrix Potter

Lakeland Miniature Village

Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole

Low Sizergh Barn
Low Sizergh Barn is a farm shop, tea room, craft gallery and farm trail on an organic dairy farm near the Lake District national park. The farm shop is filled with one of the best selections of local and speciality foods in Cumbria including organic cheese, eggs and ice cream.

Ruskin Museum
There has been a Ruskin Museum in Coniston since 1901. The museum has a Ruskin collection, they also have coppermines, slate, geology, lace, farming and Donald Campbell exhibitions. This is an interesting and educational stop on your holiday in the Lake District.
