Clitheroe Castle and Gardens 
Cltheroe Castle and Gardens has extensive grounds with some of the most breathtaking views in the area. There is a beautiful rose garden and a labyrinth within the gardens, the labyrinth was the first in Lancashire. The Castle also has a museum which brings the history and geology of the Ribble Valley to life.

Whalley Abbey 
Whalley Abbey stands on the banks of River Calder and has been there since the fourteenth century. Visitors can look around the stunning gardens and ruins, as well as around the exhibition centre, which includes a remarkable model of how the Abbey would probably have appeared in 1520.

Ghostly guided walks 
Lancashire and the Ribble Valley is surrounded with ghostly legends. The guided walks available explore haunted ginnels, cobbled streets and burial grounds in the area.

Ribble Valley’s Sculpture Trail 
The Ribble Valley Sculpture Trail goes from Brungerley Bridge through Brungerley Park to Crosshill Quarry. The trail looks at the local heritage and landscape of Ribble Valley.
