There are a number of different cycling routes in Lancashire for the more advanced cycler or families who want an easy route to see the sights. The Forest of Bowland is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and covers rural Lancashire and North Yorkshire. Gisburn Forest Family Route is the largest forest in Lancashire and climbs above the Ribble Valley allowing you to see the spectacular views across the Forest of Bowland. There are many tracks and paths throughout both these areas which are marked as cycle routes.

Pottery painting
Pottery painting allows you and your family to have fun while being creative. Make your pots as colourful as you like and keep the kids entertained for hours. You can create a treasure holiday keepsake or a gift for someone special.

Lancashire Witches Trail
The Pendle or Lancashire Witches were some of the most famous witches in English legal history. Their trial was held at Lancaster, where 10 men and women were hung for witchcraft, and one died while awaiting trial. The Pendle witches trials were unusual for two reasons, the official publication of the proceedings and because of the number of witches hanged.
