Judges Lodgings Museum
Judges Lodgings is an elegant Grade I listed building based in Lancaster near the Castle and Priory. Lancaster's oldest town house, building was originally home to Thomas Covell, Keeper of Lancaster Castle and notorious witch hunter. The museum houses a renowned collection of Gillow furniture, fine art and the Museum of Childhood which looks at toys and games from the 18th century to the present day.

Lancaster City Museum
Lancaster City Museum is based in the City's former Town Hall, built in 1781-83. The museum's collection illustrates the history and archaeology of Lancaster and the surrounding area.

Lancaster Castle and Dungeons
Lancaster Castle is owned by Her Majesty the Queen, who is the 'Duke of Lancaster'. The castle is also one of Europe’s longest serving operational prisons. The famous Pendle witches were tried, convicted and sentenced to death at Lancaster Castle.

Splash Park and Happy Mount Park
Happy Mount Park is a great place for the entire family. There are play areas, a miniature railway, a bowling green, miniature golf, crazy golf, the Splash Park, trampolines, a Japanese garden, a cafe, and picnic area.

Crook O’Lune
Crook O’ Lune, Near Caton, is an attractive picnic area alongside the River Lune. The view up the Lune Valley is enchanting, and provides an idyllic and relaxing spot.

Docker Park Farm Visitor Centre
Docker Park Farm is a small farm in Carnforth. It is home to pigs and piglets, lambs, rabbits, horses & ponies, and goats. There is a lake where you can go for a walk and look for the animals, or there is a tearoom serving homemade food and cakes.

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis
At the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis you can see exotic wildlife and interactive with 'hands-on' displays. With everything to see from Lizards and snakes to Fish and birds, as well as fossils and fossas, you will have plenty to see and do. The butterflies, birds and bats fly free among the visitors and tropical plants.

Butterfly House, Mini-Beast Centre and Ashton Memorial at Williamson Park
Ashton Memorial is the central focus in Williamsons Park, which can be seen for miles. The Edwardian Palm House is now a Tropical Butterfly House where exotic species fly amount the plants in the tropical forest. Venture through the mini-beast cave and flying bird enclosure. The park is beautiful and worth walking around to see all the hidden treasures and ornamental lake.
