Win a Holiday with South Lakeland Parks at the Forthcoming Kite Festival
After saving the 2010 Kite Festival from being cancelled when they stepped in to become the main sponsor, local holiday park operator, South Lakeland Parks, is again at the forefront of the festival where the company will be offering visitors the chance to win a holiday at one of its fantastic parks.
The event will take place on Sunday 20th June with activities beginning at 12pm around The Platform, Morecambe Central Promenade.
South Lakeland Parks will be at the festival showing one of their state-of-the-art caravans along with offering visitors the chance to win a week long holiday at the park of their choice. The company will also be running giveaways and providing family fun in the form of local park mascots Reggie and Billy.

South Lakeland Parks’ managing director, Nigel Wimpenny commented: “We are really looking forward to this years Kite Festival in Morecambe. We’ve always been big supporters of the area including recent investments in our local parks which this year topped £4 million. It means a lot to us to sponsor this event and we are thrilled to be a part of it. Morecambe is a great town and we hope that everyone will make an effort to visit our caravan and enter the competition.”
South Lakeland Parks is one of the north-west’s leading holiday park operators with nine parks in the region, four of which are located in and around Morecambe Bay.
Regent Park in Morecambe’s West End and Ocean Edge Park in the historic village of Heysham are the two parks which will act as the main sponsors.
